  • Does your background screening comply with US regulations?

    Yes. All of our background check packages comply with the FCRA and other regulations pertaining to our industry. 

    The FCRA governs more than just credit reports.  If you are using criminal or civil records as part of your decision making criteria then you must ensure that those records comply with the FCRA.  Compliance with applicable federal regulations is the highest priority.  If you rely only on database search results and do not validate the findings with a court search, you are not in compliance with the FCRA.  Non-compliance with the FCRA results in significant penalties through class action lawsuits.

  • How much does your background checks cost?

    Background screening ranges in pricing depending on your needs. It really depends on the information you are looking for, whether it be credit reports, motor vehicle reports, criminal records, or many other options. Our programs are priced specifically for your needs.

  • What kind of information does a background check find?

    The information found varies depending upon what search is ordered and who the search subject is.  Generically, background checks can find information relating to criminal history, civil records, consumer credit history, academic history, employer history, and more.

  • Do I need consent from the person I am performing a background check on?

    Yes. Background checks require the authorization of the search subject. If you do not receive consent, you can not run a check on that subject.

  • How long does a background check take?

    It depends on the search, but most checks are available on the same day, while in some states the reporting of certain records can take up to a week to return. It all depends on the structure of the database we are accessing and whether that information is immediately available or if you need to run a specific check within a county courthouse.
